The PENN® Pursuit® V Boat combos are available in 2 different versions; a 20-30lb and a 30-50lb version, both coupled with powerful 6000 size reels. Both combos can be used for nearly all the boat fishing styles you can think of; the only difference is that the 30-50lb version is more powerful, which would be the combo of choice when fishing in really deep water, using heavy baits or targeting very big fish like halibut or sharks. Both options have very sensitive blanks and are finished with saltwater proof K-type guides which prevent the line from getting entangled around the guides. The PENN® Pursuit® V reels feature a durable and corrosion resistant graphite body and powerful HT-100 drag system. The instant Anti-Reverse eliminates even the slightest rotor back play while the 4+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings provide smooth retrieves. Just fill the reel with your line of choice and you will have an incredible and durable set-up for a very affordable price.
